The best mario game of all time
I have played every game ever created for Mario. From the original super mario bros that was for NES, to the new game that is available on the wii. My favorite is the mario that game out for super nintendo. That was to me, the best game ever created! The graphics were amazing for the time the game was created. It was fast. It allowed 2 player. And you could even play as yoshi! The levels in the super mario bros game for super nintendo were incredible as well. They were all big and weren’t too easy.
The second favorite for me was super mario bros 3. I think that for its time it was a really good looking game and was super fun to play! It was actually pretty hard for me to choose between super mario bros 3 and the SNES mario game. I even found the secret whistles in super mario 3 that allow you to warp from world to world! This was a great part to move maps if you found yourself in a particularly tough situation or level that you are having too much trouble with.
And of course lastly we have super mario. It was the game that truely started it all. A revolution if you will started with the original mario game. I have to say its my 3rd favorite, even though its the original because when you compare the modern graphics of super mario bros 3 and the snes version to the first one, well, there isn’t much of a comparison. However, it did deserve an honorable mention for 3rd place. I wasn’t sure if I should be mentioning mario cart as well, seeing as its also one of my favorite games ever. Mario cart simply didn’t make the list because I could only pick 3 games, and even though its one of my favorites, I just couldn’t remove any of them. So sit back, relax, grab your favorite super mario bros game and try to beat some levels!
Playing online mario games
I play games online to pass the time. I’ve always liked video games. Especially super mario bros. It was always fun in the first mario that came out, to try and run on the castle and jump to see how high you could get on the flop pole before the end of every level! And sometimes there would even be fireworks. I know, super cool!
Now people seem more interested in Call of duty, or starcraft, among other games.. but I say keep it original and keep playing super mario brothers. There really is no game thats more fun for everyone!
Super Mario Bros vs Sonic
Do you remember the day when people would play super mario bros or sonic the hedgehog? I do. Those were good times.. the NES, and SEGA changed the way we play video games. My favorite game was always Mario Brothers. I especially think the 3rd is the best, where you can fly. It was so much fun playing that game. I used to spend hours with my brothers playing until late at night. But now, with new, faster, better video game systems out there Mario has once again had to improve itself for a new generation of gamers. I must say that it makes me really happy to be able to load up my Wii and play the NEW super mario bros! I love it!
Now, what about sonic? Well they’ve never really made the comeback that I believe Super Mario Brothers did. I’ve played Sonic a few times, but just always preferred to more diverse Mario to it’s SEGA cousin. But really, the best thing for anyone to do is play both games, and see which one they prefer.
Top Mario Games: Top Reasons To Play Super Mario Bros
A person does not really need many reasons to play Super Mario Bros. To the millions of people who played the game, it is simply fun and entertaining. Since the 1980s, Nintendo has released plenty of Super Mario Bros games, and in many different formats too. It would be kind of difficult for gamers to rank the top Super Mario Bros games…or is it? Of course, the list will vary from one person to another. Listed below (in no particular order) are some of the Mario games which are favorites in most gamers’ lists.
- Super Mario Bros (NES) – Nothing beats the original. Nintendo’s first Mario offering is obviously the most significant, since it was the one that first introduced the gaming public to Mario, Luigi, Toad, Princess Toadstool (now known as Princess Peach) and King Koopa (also called Bowser). It is this game that shaped the history of video games forever.
- Super Mario Bros 2 (FDS, Japanese Original) – People outside of Japan almost did not get to play Super Mario Bros in this game. Based on another game called ‘Doki Doki Panic,’ this proved to be one of the most difficult Mario games to play. However, the challenge made it more appealing for gamers.
- Super Mario Bros 3 (NES) – This is said to be the best NES game. Also, this is the game which first featured the Tanooki Suit, a awesome power-up that can help turn Mario (or Luigi) into a statue.
- Super Mario World (SNES) – It is the game which started Mario’s adventures. Here, Mario and the gang go beyond Mushroom Kingdom and embark on a journey in a different world, specifically Dinosaur Land. Mario alone is great, but Mario with a dinosaur in tow is better.
- Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island (SNES) – The dinosaur named Yoshi was first introduced to gamers in Super Mario World, but he again makes an appearance in this game. After all, the game is set in his island. For this game, Nintendo offered a different kind of gameplay and graphics for those who play Super Mario Bros.
- Super Mario Galaxy (Wii) – Nintendo’s mascot has been to a lot of places, and this game brings him into space. This is one of the most critically acclaimed Mario games ever due to the design, graphics and originality, and has convinced some people to play Super Mario Bros again.
The 25th Anniversary Game: The Ultimate Proof That People Still Love to Play Super Mario Bros
Nintendo need not go far to find proof that people still love to play Super Mario Bros. The video game giant had released Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Game just last December 2010, but the game is now already included in the list of Wii million selling titles. With 2.24 million copies sold worldwide, this Mario collection joins other Nintendo million sellers such as Wii Party, Kirby’s Epic Yarn and Donkey Kong Country Returns.
The Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Game proves to be a true video game enthusiast’s collectible. The package contains four classic Mario games, which can now be played on the Wii system. These are Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros 2 (the Doki Doki Panic version) and Super Mario Bros 3. All four games can be played with any of the following controllers: Wii Remote, Classic Controller, Classic Controller Pro and Nintendo GameCube controller. The collectible also features a soundtrack CD as well as a 32-page commemorative booklet.
The Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Game may have been anticipated by many people, but it got a lot of flak after it was released. However, the number of bad reviews is not a testament to the waning support or interest for Mario and the rest of the gang. Rather, the criticism only proves that people still love to play Super Mario Bros. After all, there will be no disappointment if there was no respect for the legacy of the beloved Nintendo franchise.
There are no complaints about the quality of the games included in the Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Game; the problem is with the included games themselves. First of all, it includes Super Mario All-Stars, which most gamers already own since its release on SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) in 1992. However, it fails to include other important games such as Yoshi’s Island, Super Mario Land and Super Mario 64. Hence, the selection of the games proved to be frustrating to those who really loved to play Super Mario Bros. The bonus items also are dismaying to most people.
Despite the critique, Nintendo should not be worried. The rants only mean one thing: people who play Super Mario Bros care enough for the legendary video game to demand something much better. Nintendo should take both the impressive sales and the criticism as signs of Super Mario Bros’ continuous success.

How Nintendo Keeps People Interested to Play Super Mario Bros
Super Mario Bros is an unbeatable name in the video game industry. It was created in the 1980s, but it remains to be sought after today. It is safe to say that the secret to the success of the video game franchise is variation. When Super Mario Bros exploded in the market, it was only natural for Nintendo to create a follow-up to its incredibly successful video game. However, it is not enough to just create mediocre sequels that would benefit from the hype. The franchise will suffer if the succeeding Super Mario Bros video games would not be as interesting and as entertaining as the first.
To keep the gamers interested to play Super Mario Bros, Nintendo instantly created Super Mario Bros 2, which was the follow-up to the 1985 original. It was just like the first, except for the addition of some new elements. Unfortunately, only gamers in Japan got to play this. The Super Mario Bros 2 released in North America was different: it was a version of another game called Doki Doki Panic (though it still featured Mario characters).
Nintendo made sure to keep the Super Mario Bros fans happy by making the games a bit different. The other Mario games were designed to make the mustached plumber go on different adventures and meet new characters in the process. Take the example of Super Mario World. Those who got to play Super Mario Bros in this format saw Mario interact with some dinosaurs, including the future video game star Yoshi.
The characters, especially Mario, also were not stuck doing the same old things. For instance, there is no Mushroom Kingdom to pass through on Super Mario Kart. In this game, individuals get to play Super Mario Bros by racing against computer controlled characters. In Mario Paint, there were no Bowser forces to defeat; the person uses the game to make custom stamps or other static pictures, as well as looping animations which can be set to music. Meanwhile, Mario’s Time Machine was created to teach young players about basic world history.
The innovations done by Nintendo enabled gamers to play Super Mario Bros in different ways. This prevented gamers from being tired of the characters, since almost every game release presents something new. As a result, people are still interested with what Mario is up to, and they cannot wait to
embark on his latest adventure.
Shigeru Miyamoto: The Reason People Play Super Mario Bros
It is difficult to imagine a world without Super Mario Bros. The video game which stars a mustached plumber is one of the best selling video games in history, and has become a household name. The video game’s theme music has become so recognizable that even those who do not play the game knows it. The influence of the Super Mario Bros even extends to popular culture in general, with the release of an American television series (based upon the two video games) and a movie.
However, no one would have been able to play Super Mario Bros without Shigeru Miyamoto. Most people do not know about him, but true video game enthusiasts are and will always be indebted to him. After all, Miyamoto is the creator of Super Mario Bros. He is the reason people play Super Mario Bros in the first place.
Nobody would have guessed that someone like Miyamoto would be instrumental in the success of Nintendo. He was born and raised in a rural community near Kyoto, and he grew up without a television set. It was his imagination and own sense of adventure that later proved to be useful in his creation of revolutionary and highly successful video games. He studied industrial design in college and worked for the then toy company Nintendo as a staff artist. It was not until CEO Hiroshi Yamauchi decided to have a video game made that Miyamoto got the opportunity to show his gift for making video games.
The much-hyped video game Radar Scope failed to reach expectations, and Miyamoto was put in charge to create the next big video game. The end result was Super Mario Bros. The plot was based on Popeye, but instead of a sailor man, the protagonist was a plumber who was initially named ‘Jumpman.’ The video game hero was eventually called Mario. With the help of the Family Computer (later known as the Nintendo Entertainment System), the world was formally introduced to the video game. The world soon loved to play Super Mario Bros.
After Super Mario Bros, Miyamoto also became responsible for another Nintendo success: The Legend of Zelda. However, Miyamoto remains to be most known for Super Mario Bros. Decades after the game was born, it continues to be a hit. This is why gamers would be forever thankful to Miyamoto for giving them the chance to play Super Mario Bros.

Do you play Super Mario Bros? It is a fact that the game is one of the video game legends. Created in the 1980s, it has been played by countless people all over the world, making it one of the best selling games of all time. In fact, it still continues to sell today. Nobody would have guessed that the chain of events that resulted in the game’s creation was brought about by failure.
If it was not for the video game Radar Scope, nobody who have gotten the opportunity to play Super Mario Bros. Nintendo had high hopes for the aforementioned video game, but it bombed; this forced Nintendo to come up with another game immediately. Graphic designer Shigeru Miyamoto was given the responsibility and took his inspiration from the characters of Popeye. The lead character of the game, who was inspired by the spinach-loving sailor man, was initially called “Jumpman.” However, he was renamed “Mario” (after a landlord) prior to the release of the game in the United States.
In the beginning, gamers were only able to play Super Mario Bros in the arcade. Unfortunately, the game did not make as much as impact as Donkey Kong. However, the game’s luck turned around with the Family Computer or the Nintendo Entertainment System. The change in gaming platform paved the way for the success of Nintendo and its newest game. With only one distributor willing to sell limited stock in New York, Nintendo never thought it would finally hit the jackpot. In no time, the game with the mustached plumber with the red hat as a protagonist became a household name. Many people became transported to Mushroom Kingdom to save the lovely Princess Peach from the turtle-dragon villain. It is this success that enabled people to play Super Mario Bros until now.
Why People Play Super Mario Bros
Why People Play Super Mario Bros
Since video games were invented and became popular, it has never gone out of style. Consoles might have evolved from the Family Computer to the Nintendo Wii, but the appeal of the games never change regardless of the computer system used. For decades, playing video games has been the preferred pastime of millions, and it remains to be so at this very day. At present, 3D games such as Grand Theft Auto and Halo may be the favorites, but there is one classic game that will never lose its charm for video game enthusiasts: Super Mario Bros. Super Mario Bros may have been a 1980s creation, but it continues to be played by audiences in the 21st century. Why do people play Super Mario, even when there are other more advanced video games out there?
The main reason why video game fanatics still play Mario Bros after all this time is simple: The game is fun to play. Video games are made for entertainment purposes and nothing is as entertaining as holding the console and helping the mustached Mario overcome the obstacles, whether these are flagpoles or barrels. The objective is simple, too: the player must defeat the troops of Bowser (or King Koopa) to save Princess Peach (who was initially called Princess Toadstool). Whether it is the 1980s format or the current 3D version, Super Mario Bros will always be a blast to play.
Another reason why people still play Super Mario Brothers is its non-violent nature. Despite being a video game for decades, Super Mario Bros is refreshing in the sense that it is probably one of the only games out there right now that does not show gore or extreme violence. Mario (and his brother Luigi) has been fighting off the evil forces for many years, and they did not need guns or explosives to do it. Instead, they get item blocks such as the Fire Flower and Super Star to progress in the game.
To those who have been around since the 1980s, playing the video game may be driven by nostalgia. No one can deny that the video game is one of the best things to have happened in that particular decade. There is the possibility that gamers play Super Mario Bros to be transported back to the 1980s, in a time which is much fun and less problematic than the current era.
